The "CHOCO PIE" I am introducing here is not a crust dough one like an apple pie, but a soft cake pie like a whoopie pie. Maybe you all already knew that.🙄

Choco Pie seems like a relatively high-end product among everyday snacks.

By the way, the reason this package (and the outer package as well) has ribbons on it is because it is Valentine's Day-specific.
This is because it is customary in Japan, it is customary to send chocolates on Valentine's Day. I will write about this in another article next time.

This is a chocolate pie made by Lotte, but there is also a famous chocolate pie made by Morinaga in Japan called Angel Pie. Angel Pie is a soft cake with marshmallow in between instead of cream.

The outer chocolate coating is crunchy. The soft cake is fluffy. And the contrast between the two is delicious!
The cream between the soft cakes tastes a little cheap, but perhaps that complements the cake and the chocolate.
When you eat it, you can smell a little bit of alcohol (brandy maybe?).
